Gordon Johnson sadly passed away in 2021, so now John operates Mr Snips alone and looks forward to seeing you.
Christmas Holiday Closure
Mr Snips will close on Saturday 23rd December at 1pm and re-open Tuesday 2nd January.
When in Tankerton, or Whitstable in general, come in and meet John at Mr Snips Gentleman's hairdressers, 119 Tankerton Road. No appointment is necessary, we're open five days a week.
Relax in the well appointed comfortable air-conditioned interior, where satellite sport and daily newspapers are provided, or if you prefer accept the invitation to 'Please Sit and Rest awhile - courtesy of Mr Snips' at their tables and chairs on the broad pavement outside and see why we've once again been a winner of 'Whitstable in bloom'!

MR SNIPS : OPEN FOR BUSINESS SINCE 1977
Gordon opened the doors of Mr Snips for business on the 25th January 1977, which was also the Queen's Silver Jubilee year. He soon became involved in the town and joined the Board of the Chamber of Commerce And was asked to coach the football team at the Whitstable Youth Club. In 1996 he became a member of the Rotary Club of Whitstable and became its President in 2002.
